Wedding Day FAQ

Do I have to attend all events?

No. your RSVP form will have individual response options for each of The Welcome Party and The Wedding events. Please ensure you RSVP accurately for each so we can plan accordingly. The Open House does not require an RSVP as this is not a formal event - you may drop by our home whenever, and come and go as you wish.

Indoors or Outdoors?

Thursday evening's Welcome Happy Hour will be outdoors on a rooftop patio. It can be a bit breezy up there! All Friday wedding events will be outdoors in the gardens of Woodbine Mansion. We will be fairly protected from wind, but we will be celebrating late into the night! Our weather in early April tends to be fairly warm with a high in the low 80s, and a good breeze lowering the temps in the evenings to the 60s. We hope this help you plan accordingly.

Can I bring a date?

All invited parties will be individually named on the invitation, as well as on your RSVP page. If someone's name is not listed, please respect that we are keeping our event tight-knit.

Are kids invited?

At both the Welcome Happy Hour and Wedding, we will be celebrating with only our wedding party's children. Please reach out to us if you have any questions.

What should I wear to the wedding?

The wedding dress code is elevated cocktail: think midi to full length dresses for women, and jackets or full suits for men. We kindly ask that you do not wear shades of white or ivory. 🤍

What time should I arrive at Woodbine Mansion?

Please arrive no later than 4:45 PM as we will be starting promptly at 5:00 PM. We cant wait to spend every moment of the party with y'all!

How do I get to and from Woodbine Mansion?

Woodbine is a short walk from The Ruby, <10 minute Uber/Lyft from the Courtyard, Tru, Springhill Suites, and ~15 min Uber/Lyft from the Westin and Lonestar Court. If you prefer to drive, limited parking is available onsite, but your car cannot be left overnight.

May I take pictures or videos?

During our ceremony we request that your phones are silenced or turned off, and kept completely out of reach. We have hired an INCREDIBLE photography and videography team (shoutout Main Squeeze Photography & KB Films!) to capture this special moment, and would truly love our professional photos and ceremony footage to be 100% free of phones and electronic devices. Once the ceremony ends, you are more than welcome to photograph and video anything you like at the cocktail hour and reception! We cant wait to see the memories you capture.
